ParSCORE INSTRUCTIONS (Please follow instructions exactly)


Start the course:

1. Download the rosters from registrar.
2. From rosters create the file in Excel similar to the file all.xls.
3. Save the file as all.csv (coma delimited)
4. Open all.csv with text editor (i.e. WordPad), delete first row “SSN, Student Name, , Section Number”,
you can delete “ “ by replacing them with empty space. It should look like all.txt in the end. Save it as all.txt.
5. Open ParSCORE.
6. Create a new course: log on, click new, answer questions.
7. Go to student> click the button “import student enrollment records from the file” > select all.txt.
8. Cogratulations.
 

Save a backup file:

1. Open ParSCORE
2. Make sure that “Course checked out No”  If it is “Yes” press the button “Check In”>No.
3. Press “checked out” button >Yes>Select where you want to place the backup for you course.
 
 

Open a backup file:

1. Open ParSCORE
2. Make sure that “Course checked out Yes”  If it is “No” press the button “Check Out”>No.
3. Press “checked in” button >Yes> Select where from you want to download the backup for your course.
 
 

Create a test and grade the exam:

1. Click on roster> button “create score columns”>answer questions.
2. Click on keys>select exam number> select version>click button edit answer keys>click add>type in answer keys
3. Click on scoring>select options>press score button
 
 

Print students test reports:

1. In main menu click on Reports>Student Test Reports> aswer questions.
 
 

Save students scores in Excel:

1. In main menu click on Options>Export Roster Data>aswer questions.
