Besides using a traditional mail program (e.g., Mozilla Thunderbird or Netscape Messenger) to access your email from any internet connection, you can also use your favorite browser to check email without the need to configure any special settings. Just use the Access Webmail link above to get to the sign in page for your department.
Tired of spam? Need to set up email forwarding? You can use the Advanced Scripting interface on the Webmail page to set up mail filters, forwarding, and more. See the FAQ for more info.
The password page is a convenient way to change your password when you can't come into the department to login to one of our Novell workstations. When changing your password, remember that passwords must be at least 7 characters and different from passwords you've previously used on the system. If you have problems changing your password, please pay close attention to the error message for important clues.
Note: these resources help you access your departmental account (@history, @econ). For information regarding your university account (@rci, @eden), see the University computing section, or try visiting the New Brunswick/Piscataway Computing Services webpage directly.
